Outcared Inc. will sign Business Associate Agreements when client physician practices, medical facilities and other providers that request them, and shall make every reasonable effort to comply with the Omnibus Privacy and Security Rules under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act of 2009, and the regulations promulgated thereto, as well as applicable state laws regarding the privacy and security of protected health information.
